The Atlanta OCDS community is now mentoring a Group in Discernment (GID) in the beautiful North Georgia mountains.  They meet on Saturdays, once a month, at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Blairsville, Georgia.

BLESSING AND ENROLLMENT IN THE SCAPULAR

Wednesday, July 16th, is the Solemnity of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.  After the noon Mass on July 16, Fr. Cong will bless brown scapulars and enroll those who want to honor Our Lady by wearing the brown scapular.  The scapulars will be available that day for those who want to participate as well as the written promises that are associated with this rite of enrollment.  If you are already enrolled but would like a new scapular, please come and take one.  Old scapulars can be left with us and disposed of properly.
